Shipping and logistics

We understand that efficient and reliable shipping is critical to delivering your machinery safely and on time. Our shipping methods are tailored to the specific requirements of each piece of equipment, ensuring optimal handling and cost-effectiveness.

Shipping methods

We primarily utilize three shipping methods depending on the machinery type and destination:

  1. Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro): Ideal for wheeled and self-propelled machinery, Ro-Ro allows equipment to be driven directly onto the vessel, minimizing handling and reducing risk of damage.
  2. Container Shipping: For smaller or high-value machinery, container shipping offers enhanced protection and security during transit. We arrange full or shared container loads based on volume and client needs.
  3. Flat Rack Shipping: Oversized or irregularly shaped equipment that cannot fit into containers is shipped using flat rack vessels, providing flexibility for large or heavy machinery.

Thanks to our long-standing relationships and consistent shipping volume, Nippon Trading enjoys prioritized service from major shipping companies. This advantage translates into smoother scheduling, reduced delays, and enhanced communication throughout the shipping process.

Determining the best shipping method for your needs

Our logistics experts assess each shipment to recommend the most suitable shipping method based on:

  • Machinery dimensions and weight
  • Destination port capabilities
  • Delivery timelines
  • Cost considerations

This tailored approach guarantees your equipment is shipped safely, efficiently, and in line with your project requirements.
